Dr Dixit & Dr Kolla GP surgery have had an established Patient Participation Group since 2005,which consists of registered patients. The group have been proactive in helping with the development of the Practice and offering advice in the improvement in the services we offer based on the experience of those who use it. There are currently 5 members 4 male and 1 female representatives aged between 55 – 78 years.
We continually strive to try to expand our patient group to include a cross section of our patient population through the website, newsletters, posters in surgery and display leaflets in and around the practice. We are aware that targeting patients who are either in education or in employment, may not be able to offer their time to attend meetings but we would like to encourage patients to join a virtual PPG group for an opportunity to give your views and raise issues. We would value your opinion on the services we provide and would value any questions should think should be included in our future surveys. In order to improve Patient Access the GP’s operate a Telephone Consultation system where patients can get medical advice over the telephone for their healthcare problem. Easy access phone advice means patients don’t have to make unnecessary visits to the doctor – the GP’s are able to deal with more clinical problems and this is great for busy people, carers and people who work. We would value your feedback on the services we currently provide.
